Doomsday conversation is no knew thing.  There was a time when people prepped, when zombie and apocalypse material was a form of naive enthusiasm.  The pictures of the ice melt are real.  Belief should include an openness to reason and evaluate situational circumstance.  When Luke 21:25-28 says 'and on earth will be distress of nations in perplexity because of the roaring of the sea and the waves, people fainting with fear and with foreboding of what is coming on the world' it's because of coast and rising sea levels as well.  It ends saying 'Now when these things begin to take place, straighten up and raise your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.'

Not only does the sea mean population of people in many various passages but this verse is eerie and coincidental in that it says perplexity and fainting with fear because of the sea and waves.  Tropical storms are an indication (sign) we are to include in our awareness as night managers or virgin candle oil holders.
